This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when MSPs use our platform to deliver services to their end clients (“End Users”).
2. Roles Under Data Protection Laws
- Einstein MSP Cloud “EMC” acts as a Data Processor / Service Provider
- MSPs act as Data Controllers / Businesses
- End Users are customers of the MSP, not EMC
EMC processes personal data only on instructions from MSPs, unless required by law.
3. Information We Collect
a. MSP (Partner) Information
- Business name, contact details, some client information for QB Hosting
- Account credentials and communications
b. Billing Information
- Billing contacts
- Payment methods
- Transaction history
Used solely for invoicing and account management.
c. Infrastructure & Usage Data
- IP addresses, device/browser data
- System logs and authentication records
- Performance and diagnostic data
d. End User Data (Processed on Behalf of MSPs)
Depending on services used:
- QuickBooks Hosting: financial and accounting data
- Email Hosting: email content and metadata
- Web Hosting: websites, databases, files
- VoIP: call logs and metadata (not call recordings unless configured)
- VPC/Cloud: applications, systems, and stored data
EMC does not control how MSPs use this data.
4. How We Use Information

We DO NOT sell personal data.
5. Data Ownership & Control
- MSPs own all client relationships and End User data
- EMC owns and operates the infrastructure
- EMC accesses data only to:
- Provide services
- Support MSP requests
- Comply with law
6. GDPR (EU/EEA/UK)
Where applicable:
- EMC acts as a Data Processor
- MSPs determine legal basis (contract, consent, legitimate interest, etc.)
Data Subject Rights
End Users may request:
- Access, correction, deletion
- Restriction or objection
- Data portability, migration
Requests must go through the MSP. EMC will assist MSPs where required.
Data Transfers
We implement safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses where needed.

7. CCPA / CPRA (California)
- EMC acts as a Service Provider
- We do not sell or share personal data
Rights Include:
